The Skills Bridge program was created to empower young business professionals by equipping them with the skills necessary to progress in their careers and to succeed in leadership roles.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Video Lesson Series

Event: Online/Offline

Final presentation

This 8-week program will consist of 3 modules: critical thinking, personal development, and communication. Each module will have several videos explaining the skills, followed by an event (online or offline) that will reinforce the concepts with discussions and activities. The program will culminate in a final presentation where the participants apply the skills learned to help a non-profit organization with one of its projects.

Thai Van Linh will be your instructor for the duration of the course. In addition, a team of mentors will provide participants with feedback on each learning module, as well as offer career guidance and advice.

Skills Bridge: Batch 1 is a partnership between TVL Group, the US Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City, AmCham Vietnam, and Lana Learn. with the goal of building a community of active learners and positive supporters. Batch 1 will have a special focus on the women leaders of tomorrow.

Requirements to participate

  • Female
  • Living in Ho Chi Minh City
  • Work experience: 3-5 years in a professional setting
  • Proficiency in English : written and spoken
  • Strong desire to learn and optimize knowledge and strengths

Over the past 20 years of working in finance, marketing, and operations, I have taken on many different roles and had the opportunity to work alongside amazing people. All these experiences helped me distill out the most critical hard and soft skills for anyone who wants to progress more quickly in their careers. 

 

Based on these key learnings, I am so excited to announce the launch of the TVL Group Skills Bridge program, Batch 1. In partnership with AmCham Vietnam, this compact 8-week program has been created specifically for young business professionals, equipping them them with the foundational skills necessary to succeed in leadership roles.
